  • Blown out of proportion. People only see key words "young boy" "abandoned" "plane to russia" etc. the adoption agency gave her false information about the child, so she returned the kid, and even had the decency not to ask for a refund.

  • Yes, a national day of prayer shouldn't even be considered. But people have votes to win, repealing it would isolate 85% of the country, and that is stupid from a vote-getting perspective.

  • The National Day of Prayer is a bad idea anyways. This is a secular government, what do people not understand about that? I do not pay taxes that pay for politician's salaries, so that they can spend a day asking for help from an imaginary sky-wizard.

  • really? 6 million miles? the ISS is on average ~220 Miles from earth that would mean the shuttle had to be going an average of 16667 MPH. The speed of sound is 761 MPH, so the shuttle was going 21x the speed of sound...the whole time ;_;
